Mary Sue Burchfield, age 87, was born February 24, 1938, in Temple, Texas and passed away July 9, 2025, in Bryan, Texas.
Sue, as most knew her, was a loving mother, loving grandmother, and loving great-grandmother. She loved her daughter and grandkids with all of her heart.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Burchfield; her mother and father, Roy and Elizabeth Jackson; her grandmother, Grace Winn; her grandad, Burlyn Winn; and her uncle, Harold Winn.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Beth Perry and husband, Carl Perry; grandkids, Kennedy Perry and Anthony Perry and his girlfriend, Makayla; sister, Ann Trammell; niece, Catherine Ann Perry and her husband, Jim Perry; and great-granddaughter, Afia Rose Perry.
A graveside service honoring Sue's life will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Marquez Cemetery, Marquez, Texas. Rev. Bobby W. Burleson will officiate the service. A time of visitation will take place Friday, July 18, 2025, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
