Mary Jane Chermak (Nee Frye), passed away peacefully at her home on March 10, 2023. Raised and educated in Margate, New Jersey. She was a 1964 year graduate of Atlantic City High School, and Mary Jane also graduated from Pierce Business School. Mary Jane has resided in Boothwyn for the past 52 years. She worked for Bermaine's Salon as a manicurist for 15 years before she retired. She loved her clients and considered them all friends. She also worked for General Electric and The Franklin Mint. She loved to travel, play tennis, puzzles, going to the beach, and she played a mean game of cards. She also loved spending time with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and the gatherings with her many brothers and sisters throughout the years. Mary Jane will be missed by all but never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents Earl D. Frye and Anne Champion Frye and her son Michael D. Chermak.
SURVIVORS: Her husband of 56 years Michael J. Chermak, Jr. her son Jeffery S. Chermak (Bonnie), her grandchildren Zoe Chermak, and Isabella Chermak, her siblings Katherine A. Hardiman, Sally McCourt, David E. Frye, Ellen T. Holland, Diane R. Argentina, and James E. Frye. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation: Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:30am - 10:45am at St. John Fisher Church at 4225 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA 19061. Funeral Mass: Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00am at St. John Fisher Church. Burial: Private.
