Mary Carolyn Fraser Delk, 89, resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Morris, Brian Gregory and Harold Delk officiating. Burial will follow at Delk Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday February 10, 2025 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

The family suggest memorials may be made to Highland Church of Christ 497 East James Campbell Blvd. Columbia, TN 38401 or Delk Cemetery c/o Jason Delk 4755 Kettle Mills Road Williamsport, TN 38487.

Born July 14, 1935 in Columbia, TN, she was the daughter of the late Richard Odell “Dick” Fraser and the late Mary Azalea Ammons Fraser. On April 14, 1956, she married Edward Blair “Eddie” Delk, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2024. Her family was everything to her and she cherished any moment spent with them. She loved being with her friends, neighbors, and church family. She was a member of Highland church of Christ for almost 60 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie (Steve) Farris of Columbia; son, Mark (Rhonda) Delk of Columbia; grandchildren, Ben (Rebecca) Farris of Columbia and Brent (Emily) Farris of Old Hickory, TN; great grandchildren, Linley Farris, Eden Farris, Jude Farris, Lillian Farris, and Nolan Farris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Earwood; and sister, Maxine Webster. 

Pallbearers will be Ricky Webster, Mike Webster, Johnny Earwood, Oliver Lynn Ammons, Glenn Rodgers, and John Wayne Williams. Honorary pallbearers will include Carl & Carole Jean Sellers, Jr. Hickman, Kay Wood, and David & Rachel Ammons.
