Mary Falcone, a beacon of warmth and familial dedication, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the age of 99 in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 12, 1926, Mary's life was a century-long testament to love, resilience, and the intrinsic value of home and family. Throughout her life, Mary embraced the role of a homemaker with unparalleled passion, creating a nurturing environment for all who crossed her doorway.
Growing up during the Great Depression as the eldest of five, Mary stepped into the role of caregiver with grace and resilience far beyond her years. Family was the heart of her world, and she found joy in bringing loved ones together-especially around the table. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the sweet aroma of something baking in the oven. From her famous cream puffs to simple butter cookies at Christmas, Mary's kitchen was a place where love was measured in teaspoons and memories were made.
But Mary's creativity didn't end with baking. She had a deep love for painting, and in later years, she began hand-painting beautiful Christmas cards, each one a tiny work of art sent with love to those she held dear.
Never one to sit still for long, Mary embraced life with a spirited heart. In her early eighties, she began taking Zumba classes, proving to everyone around her that it's never too late to try something new. She inspired others with her energy, optimism, and quiet strength-reminding us all that age is just a number.
Above all, Mary cherished the time she spent with her beloved Frank. Together, they shared countless adventures, including bus trips across the country, hand in hand, surrounded by friends and family. Their love story was the thread that tied together all the chapters of her life-a life lived fully, generously, and with so much heart.
Mary is survived by her beloved daughters, Susan Trischetti and husband Steve; Angela Vitale and husband Frank; granddaughters Lisa Vitale; Christina DeNucci and husband Dominick; Alyssa McIntyre and husband Ian; great grandchildren, Brooke, Colin, Cameron, Lucas, Danielle and Emalina; sister Antoinette Buonpane; brother Louie DeAngelis; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary is predeceased by her adoring husband, Frank Falcone; parents Margaret and George DeAngelis; and brother Guy DeAngelis.
As we say farewell to Mary Falcone, we celebrate nearly a centennial of cherished moments and the immeasurable influence she had on the world around her. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, her unwavering spirit, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of every person she met. Mary's story does not end with her passing but lives on through the lives of those she loved, as her legacy of love is everlasting.
