Mary Margaret Grant, 63, of Columbus, OH, passed away on March 27, 2025 at the home of her sister after a long hard fought battle with frontotemporal dementia.
She was born on November 6, 1961 in Columbus, OH to Denny and Mary (Doyle) Dorgan who preceded her in death.
Mary is survived one son Daniel Dennis Grant. She had 4 sisters: Terri (deceased) Dee (Mark) Meinhart, Doreen Dodson, and Barb (Mike) Mathews. Mary worked 41 years at the same company as an eyeglass technician. Mary graduated from St. Francis DeSales high school in 1980. Mary truly loved all of her many nieces and nephews . She also loved sending out special cards to everyone and anyone....always to be sure to send out her Christmas cards by the first of December!
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, OH 43082.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Capital Area Humane Society or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society through the church.
