Mary Lou was born in Clarke Co, VA on Sept 23, 1931, to the late Clyde Braxton Levi and Bernice Ashby Humston Levi. She was a graduate of John Handley High School, Class of 1950. Mary Lou retired from F&M Bank of Winchester in 2003 after many years of service. She excelled in her banking career, rising to Branch Manager and Loan Officer. In her early adult years Mary Lou was quite the Duck Pin bowler and enjoyed her Morning Housewives League. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, John Russell Jones, Jr. (Rusty), Steven T. Jones, and wife, Cindy; daughter, Diane J. Burnett, and husband, Steve; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 69 years, John R Jones (Ikie), who passed away in 2020, her sister, Therese Levi Ritter, brother, Thomas W Levi, and daughter-in-law Cindy Carper Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, VA. Services will be private.
