Mary Ann Krause passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 at 84 years of age. Born on August 8, 1939, she lived a life filled with love, compassion, and generosity. Throughout her life, Mary Ann was known for her unwavering strength and resilience. She faced life's challenges with grace and dignity, inspiring those around her to persevere in the face of adversity.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Doris Long, her sister Betty Jean Long, and her brother Cecil Long. She leaves behind a loving family who will continue her legacy: her siblings Duane (Caroline) Long, Larry (Marilyn) Long, and Darlene Clark; her children Michael (Linda) Krause and Wayne (Jane) Krause; her grandchildren Lindsey Krause and Jaley (Dylan) Grant; and her great-grandchildren Eliana and Noah Grant.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Mary Ann's cherished friends, Tammy Gonfiantini and Kim Gottfredsen, whose unwavering love and care brought so much comfort throughout her life.
We would also like to acknowledge, and extend sincere gratitude, to the staffs of Beloit Regional Hospice and Autumn Lake Healthcare at Beloit for their tremendous care, compassion, and skill in caring for her during the past several months. They truly made an unbearable situation manageable.
Mary Ann's faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a treasured member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. Her church family and friends were a vital part of her life, offering her support and companionship. She found great joy in serving others through her cooking and baking, especially during her favorite time of year, Christmas, when she delighted in her "Christmas baking," which brought joy to so many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Calvary Tabernacle Church, 1907 McKinley Ave., Beloit, WI. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Calvary Tabernacle Church in her honor.

If it wasn't for my Aunt Mary, I would have never been converted and saved March 24, 1977. Bible study service hit my heart big time. Recieved the Holy Ghost after repenting that night. April 24, 1977 I was baptized in Jesus' Name. She stood by me all the time and for years after. We still had spiritual chats even here in Atlanta as I would drive home in this awful traffic. I'm gonna miss her.
