Mary Ellen Limbaugh, age 49 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on December 18, 1975, to the late Jim and Tina M. (Frame) Haney. For most of her married life, Mary had been a devoted homemaker, but as her children grew up, she ventured out a few years ago and worked as a cashier at Save-A-Lot. One of the highlights of each day was her daily trip to Sonic for a drink. Her world revolved around her family, and Mary cherished the time spent with each and every one of them, especially her grandchildren. Her kind nature and sassiness will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was currently attending Oak Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Regina Kay Haney; and father-in-law, Roger Limbaugh. Mary is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Duane Limbaugh; children, Chia Limbaugh, Jeremiah Limbaugh, Rhett (Xavier) Limbaugh, and Emily Limbaugh; grandchildren, Dakota, Willow, Penelope, Ember, Harper, and Wyatt; siblings, Kojack (Mandy) Haney; mother-in-law, Sarah Limbaugh; sisters-in-law, Angie (Thomas) Miller, Rachel Limbaugh, Sharon (Frank) Saylor, Shannon Phipps, and Linda Haney; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. John Ben Neal officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
