Mary McCormack Obituary
Mary Elizabeth McCormack (nee Lukacz) daughter of Martin B. and Jean F. Lukacz (nee Kwilecki) died unexpectedly on November 25, 2024. Mary was born on September 13, 1965.
Mary was raised in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. Mary married Michael McCormack and lived on Cape Cod for many years. She worked in many retail stores priding herself on her displays. Mary loved home improvement projects, gardening and cats.
As her health declined, she used social media to stay in touch with her family and friends who were entertained by her “Mary’s playing with food” Thursdays and the antics of her cats Salem and Marzy. Mary found joy in serving at the local food bank.
Mary is survived by her brothers and sisters Martin J. Lukacz, Kenneth R. (Kaye) Lukacz, John F. Lukacz, Teresa (Daniel) Lenehan, and Annette (Chris) Lukacz-Dames. She is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy (Karl) Evoy. Cremation has taken place as per her wishes. Services will be held at a later date.
