In retirement, Mary remained intellectually curious and adventurous. She traveled widely through Elderhostel and Road Scholar programs, continuing to explore the world with the same enthusiasm that defined her lifelong love of learning.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Mary (the late Keith) McGinnis DeVaughn, Eileen M. (Robert) Frankil, Thomas Francis (Laura) McGinnis, and Rosemary McGinnis; her grandchildren, Megan, Liz, Leah, Karen, Michael, Rose, Margaret, and Marcy; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael L. McGinnis, May 26, 1978; and her son, James (Jan) McGinnis.
