In Loving Memory of Mary Moore
Mary Ellen Moore a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, passed away peacefully in the arms of her greatest love, David Robert Moore, on September 3, 2025, after a valiant three-year battle with cancer.
Mary was a ball of fire, a woman of boundless energy and unwavering determination who never stopped to rest when there was a goal to achieve. Most of us would get tired just watching her.
Whether it was nurturing her family, tackling a personal ambition, or lending a hand to those she loved, Mary pursued every endeavor with fierce resolve and an unyielding spirit. Once she set her mind to something, nothing could stand in her way until it was accomplished.
Her greatest joy was being the cornerstone for her family, offering steadfast support through every triumph and challenge. Mary's love was a constant force-her warm smile, infectious enthusiasm, and tireless encouragement lifted her loved ones to new heights on a regular basis. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around her feel loved and understood with her homemade greeting cards and plates of fresh made cookies.
A devout Catholic and true believer, she made her faith a cornerstone of her life, drawing strength from her deep spirituality to guide and inspire her daily.
Mary was a tireless advocate for her family's dreams, and a lover of lively family gatherings. Her quiet strength and genuine care touched so many lives. She took pride in her family and friends' accomplishments as if they were her own, and her spirit will continue to inspire us as we move forward. Her legacy of love, resilience, and determination will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Mary's fiery spirit and boundless love will continue to inspire those she cherished. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A special thanks to Mary's family and friends who showed so much love and support for her throughout her life, and especially the past few years as her battle with cancer grew fiercer. Your love and support were felt by her every day and gave her strength in her toughest hours. We will forever be grateful for you.
Born on January 22, 1954, in Ogden, UT, Mary lived a life defined by passion and purpose. Mary is survived by her husband David Robert Moore, children Shawn (Teresa) Moore, Casey Moore and Erin (Ryan) Vaughn, 5 grandkids: Baylee (Colter), Avery, Wyatt, Grace & Kendra, 7 siblings: Dave, Paul, Mike, Lisa, Terry, Theresa, & Cindy, father & mother-in-law: Bob & Cora Moore who will all miss her dearly.
