Mary O'Shea, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024 with family by her side. She was born April 14, 1947 to the late Floyd and Doris (Bonsall) Griffith in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She attended St. Francis High School. She married Jesse O'Shea on May 3rd, 1982. Mary's life was filled with simple pleasures, from her unwavering support for the Nebraska Corn Huskers football team to her enthusiastic cheers for the Kansas City Chiefs. She found solace in the melodies of music she treasured, particularly the tunes of Elvis Presley and Jelly Roll. The moments she shared with Logan and Teagan brought her immense happiness and fulfillment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Peggy Sue; brother, David Lind II; and her ex-husband, Bill Donaldson.
Mary is survived by her husband, Jesse O'Shea; children, Sheila Bernhards (Art Moore), Richard Donaldson (Christi); Christina Welch (Alan Natowski), Heather Watts (Scott), Angela Mauseth (Steven), Teresa Saar, Nyna Camerlinck; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; her fur baby, Nutmeg; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 with a visitation held an hour prior to the service. The family will direct memorials.
