Mary Haithcock Perry was born on February 10, 1955 to the late Morrison Boone and Mary Ann Haithcock and passed away on November 19, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 70 years old.
Mary graduated from Cary High School in Cary, North Carolina and went on to get an Associates Degree in Child Development from TRCC. She met and was united in marriage to Broward Brent Perry on October 8, 1971 in North Carolina and went on to work as a preschool teacher. Mary lived in many places and many states from her husband being military then settled down in this area for the past 30 years. Mary was a christian and poured her life into helping others. As a political activist, she was in MOMS demand action, Be SMART, Pride of the Heartland, she was a part of Stoddard County Democrats and worked/volunteered for suicide prevention. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving family include: one son, Michael Perry from Puxico, Missouri and one daughter, Kimberly (Arnold) Bowen from Millersville, Missouri, she has four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, two sisters, Yvette Noland from Chester, Illinois and Sara Sims from Murpheesboro, Tennessee. Special mentions are Lynda Stewart from Dexter, Missouri and Jennifer Kubinak from Jackson, Missouri which are Mary's closest friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Morrison Boone and Mary Ann Haithcock and her late husband, Broward Brent Perry.
Funeral Services will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, Monday, November 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow.
