Schick, Mary Jane age 85 of Andover, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday April 19, 2025 at Newton Medical Center. Born in Newton, Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of Andover. Daughter of the late George H. and Ruth Alice (nee Taylor) Wildrick, Mary Jane was a Newton high School graduate class of 1958. She had worked many years as a secretary with the former Anken Chemical of Newton and later as a receptionist for Dr. J. Calera of Andover. Mrs. Schick was a long-time member of the Andover Board of Health, where she had served as Vice President and Secretary of the years. She was also active in the Greater Andover Senior Citizens as well as the Frelinghuysen Twp. Senior Citizens. An avid reader, Mary Jane also enjoyed her regular visits with "The Girls" coffee club. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister and friend to many, Mary Jane will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel H. Schick in 2001, her cherished granddaughter Heather Lynn Schick in 1995 as well as her brothers David and Ronald Wildrick. Survivors include her son Jeffrey and his wife Colleen Schick of Newton, her grandchildren Jeffrey Schick and Rebecca Halbig, her step grandchildren Stevan Huff and Kerri and her husband Wyatt Locicero, as well as her great grandchildren Weston Locicero and Addelyn Halbig. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 4-7 PM with Funeral Services being held Thursday April 24, 2025 at 10 AM all in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main Street (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Interment will immediately follow the funeral in the Tranquility Cemetery #19 Maple Lane Road Green Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation www.cff.org Online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com
