Mary Schriver Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc. - York on Dec. 2, 2025.
Mary Helen Schriver (Shank), 52, of York, PA, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, surrounded by friends and family. Her death followed a sudden and brief battle with respiratory issues secondary to lung cancer.
Born in York, PA, Mary is the daughter of late Norma Jean Kolsovsky (Grove) and Eugene Shank. She was the youngest of four children, survived by her siblings Toni Glosser, Gene Shank, and Shelby Everhart. The love for her brother and sisters ran deep and will continue to do so. A wife to husband, Kisley Schriver, Sr., Mary demonstrated unwavering loyalty and love throughout their entire sixteen-year relationship as well as acting as a step-mother to three step-children.
Mary leaves behind three of her own children, Alyssa Jackson, Téa Chambers, and Jaden Fulcher. Her presence in their lives was fierce and strong–unparalled in resilience and support. Her house was full of the laughter of not only her own children, but those of the neighborhood. All were welcome in her home, as well as accepted and treated as family. Her door was always open and kindness always extended.
Most notably, Mary leaves three grandchildren, a granddaughter, Isabella, and two grandsons, William and Theo. Her grandchildren were her everything, her reason and motivation. Mary secured her spot in the hearts of these babies as their "Mommal" and her love for them knew no bounds.
Mary was a strong woman in every sense of the word. A survivor, a fighter, and a lover. Her love of all things "hippy," Alanis Morrisette, and true crime are staples to "Mary Shank." Many knew her and many loved her. Her absence will be felt for the remainder of the lives of those she's touched.
