A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sun City West, AZ.
Mary Dehn VanDessel was born on February 4, 1935, in Mineola. She attended St. Aloysius High School and later graduated from The College of New Rochelle. Mary was a Math teacher and a member of the Ursuline Order. She lived in Great Neck and Sun City West.
Mary Dehn VanDessel is survived by her sister-in-law Rosemary Dehn, nephew Joseph Dehn III, nephew George Dehn, niece Elaine MacDonald, nephew Bill MacDonald, niece Dede Dehn Matrangola, nephew Jim Dehn Jr., and nephew Mickey Dehn. She was preceded in death by her mother Anna J. McMahon Dehn, father Joseph W. Dehn Sr., brother Joseph W. Dehn Jr., brother James T. Dehn Sr., and sister Anne Dehn MacDonald.
