Mrs. Mary Ann Blackwell Walters, 65, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday evening, April 16th, 2025, while at home, with her family.
Mrs. Walters was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late Lovelle & Mary Mozingo Blackwell. Mary had a great love for people and animals. She will be remembered for having a sweet spirit.
Surviving are her daughters, Beth (Phil) Jones and Sharon (Blake) Hill; grandchildren, Peyton Rowe and Eric (Dani) McManus; great-grandchild, DJ McManus; siblings: Thurmond (Jeannie) Blackwell, Glenda Faye Mangum, Miriam (Laverne) Brown, Marcie (James) Whitman, Amy (Randall) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, and the love of her life, Mack Walters; and a nephew, Chris Keckley.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 on Monday afternoon, April 21st, 2025, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverend Jeff Steen and Reverend Hank Fields will officiate with the committal following in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will be meeting at the home of Faye Mangum, 92 L & M Lane, Bethune.
