Mary E. Weisman

(Nee Johnson) Passed away at her home on Monday August 18, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 51 years to Alan Weisman. Cherished mother of Carissa (John) Zacharias, Trisha Weisman, Melissa Ramey and Amanda (John) Schneider. Loving Gramma of Cece (Luke) Redford, Masen Goddard, Addisyn and Parker Schneider, Aiden Zacharias. Sister of Heidi Leiser, Paula (Steve) Neuens, Peter (Patti) Johnson and Julie Villa. Further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews' other relatives and many friends.

Mary was a woman whose spirit thrived in the simple pleasures of life. Her gardening was her sanctuary, a place where she nurtured not only flowers and vegetables but also her soul.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, whose laughter and stories filled her home with life. She was the kind of grandmother who never missed their events, always had sweet treats in the kitchen, and knew just how to make each of them feel loved.

A natural hostess, Mary had a gift for bringing people together. Her home was often the heart of celebration filled with heartfelt conversation and the kind of laughter that lingered long after the guests had gone. Whether it was a holiday feast, a spontaneous backyard gathering or a simple game of cards, she made everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Professionally, Mary served with compassion and dedication as a Family Practice Nurse for many years. Her gentle touch and unwavering commitment to patient care left a lasting impact on countless lives. She was also a passionate advocate for mental health, using her voice to raise awareness and support those navigating emotional challenges. Her work reflected her deep belief that healing involves both body and soul. In recognition of her tireless efforts, she received an award for Outstanding Achievements from NAMI in 2016, honoring her dedication to improving mental health awareness that advanced NAMI's mission to improve the lives of people affected by mental illness and their loved ones.

A celebration of Mary's Life will take place on Friday, August 29th at Harder Funeral Home from 3:30 PM until the time of memorial service at 6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in memory of Mary may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha (HAWS).

Though she is no longer with us in body, Mary's love continues to grow like the garden she tended so faithfully in every life she touched.
