MaryAnn Battle of Pepperell, MA
MaryAnn Battle, 73, of Pepperrell, MA passed away peacefully Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her home.
She was married to the late John Thomas Battle who passed away in August of 2022.
Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late George Byron and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Byron.
She was a graduate from Lowell High School.
MaryAnn retired from working in retail as a business associate.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace (St Joseph Church) in Pepperrell.
She enjoyed exploring new restaurants, traveling with her late husband, but her most cherished time was the quiet or not so quiet moments she spent with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving and devoted family, Kim (Lorrey) Lampron and Christopher of Hooksett, NH; Brian Battle of Manchester, NH; Jill Battle of Worcester, MA; and Jennifer (Battle) Vautour and Ryan of North Andover, MA. She was the doting grandmother of Alyssa Lampron, John Battle Vautour, Chauncy Battle Vautour, and Thomas Battle Vautour. A brother George and wife Lisa Byron of Tyngsboro, MA., her brother-in-law Bernard and his wife June Battle of North Chelmsford, MA. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Jay Lorrey.
FUNERAL NOTICE
MaryAnn Battle, Pepperrell, died August 16, 2025. Visiting hours Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 4-7 PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral August 21, 2025, 10 AM at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church. Christian burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperrell, MA.
