Mason Sherwood Obituary
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Mason Monroe Sherwood, age 16, our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away on November 1, 2023.
Mason was born on June 7, 2007, in Socorro, NM. Those who knew Mason, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Mason will be missed everyday by his parents Gillie & Grabiel Silva and Josh & Lisa Sherwood, his brother Layne Riggall, honorary sister and brothers Jaelyn, Jeremy, Justin, Joseph, and Jacob. Grandparents John & Lynette Moore, Grandma Mary Bertroch, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mason loved music, riding his longboard, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends. He loved animals of all kinds, he was compassionate and loved by many people.
We know Mason is now with his Grandma Margaret Taylor, Great Grandma Joyce Taylor, Great Grandma Rita Moore, cousin Thomas Shook, and childhood dog Haley.
Funeral will be held at the Raul and Shari Deju University House, 1001 Lopezville Rd, Socorro, NM on Saturday, November 11th at 11 am. Reception to follow. His burial will be private.
