Matthew A. Hurley 55 of Chillicothe passed from this life Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Greenfield Skilled Nursing. He was born Sunday, June 21, 1970, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Thomas P. and Barbara A. (Kaltenbach) Hurley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his bother Patrick Hurley.
Matt is survived by two sisters, Stacey (Tracy) DePugh and Nicole (Brian) Badgley; five nieces and nephews, Aaron (Annette) Haines, Jordan (Dylan) Drake, Levi (Lindsay) Badgley, Holly Badgley and Amber Badgley (Spencer Wiget) and several great nieces and nephews.
Matt was a 1988 graduate of Paint Valley High School.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Matt will be laid to rest in the Twin Township Cemetery.
