Matthew Perkins I

Matthew Kyne Perkins, I, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2022, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 22, 1971. Matthew attended Del City High School, Newkirk High School, and the University of Texas. He worked for 17 years as a car salesman and was known to be the go-to guy when it came to car questions. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Texas football, gardening, home decorating, dancing, cooking, all things to do with cars, and he enjoyed sharing his talents with anyone in need. He was also extremely proud of his One Year Sobriety Chip.
Matthew is survived by his wife Deborah Perkins; children Harper Grace Perkins and Matthew Kyne Perkins II; siblings Kim Perkins, Michael Perkins, Charlotte Longmire and husband Randy, Regina Coberley and fiancé Tom, Cynthia Hanna and husband Shelby; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Linda Tinker; brothers-in-law David Tinker and wife Tina, and Danny Tinker; sister-in-law Ryan Gill; and bonus brother Toby Hull and wife Katie.
He is preceded in death by his mother Glenda Sue Speers Perkins; brother Kyle Perkins; and his beloved dogs Bevo and Flower.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Ford Funeral Service in the Candlewood Chapel.
