Maudie Lee Freeland Huskey, age 98, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on October 10, 2025. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on August 20, 1927, daughter of the late Matilda Jennings. She attended Pray's Mill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Lorena Hallman and her husband Dennis, Libby Williams, Mitchell Huskey and his wife Tina, Joe Huskey and his wife Judy; grandchildren: Clint Williams, Kevin Williams, Christopher Strawn, Jenny McClintock, Kathy Kirby, Rachel Fliegauf, Joe Huskey, Jr., Mallory Bennett, Chandler Huskey; numerous great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Charles Huskey, Jr.,
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating.
Interment will follow at Pray's Mill Baptist Church Cemetery.
