Maureen "Marnie" (Reinish) Pinelli, 60, of
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, September 9th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael A. Reinish; step-father, John Giacometti; and brother, Michael K. Reinish. In addition to her loving husband of 33 years, John Pinelli, Marnie is survived by her only child, Michael Pinelli; mother, Eleanor Giacometti; sister, Kathy Schultze; and brother, Kyle Giacometti.
Marnie was born on January 17th, 1964, in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Marnie was a 1982 graduate of Lower Merion High School. She furthered her education at East Stroudsburg University before landing a job initially at Gardens Plaza in property management in Ocean City, NJ, before transitioning into a similar role at Camco in Havertown, PA. Marnie's intellect and diligence at this young age allowed her great success and she became a model for those that knew her in and out of the workplace to emulate. Shortly after she had Michael, Marnie left her career in property management to be closer to home, working as a preschool assistant teacher at Great Beginnings in Exton, PA. She adored working with children, but her favorite and most cherished role of all was being a mother to her son. Marnie always said that Michael was "God's greatest gift."
Marnie's favorite time of year was Christmas. She got so much mileage out of decorating her home top to bottom in holiday decor in the fall and winter months. It's as if her home truly was a winter wonderland straight out of a Hallmark movie. Marnie not only loved to decorate, but she loved arts and crafts. She has always had an artistic eye and a passion for creativity. For as long as her family can remember, Marnie spent hours leading up to the holidays each year crafting personalized ornaments for her loved ones. It's a testament to how selfless she was and special she made those around her feel.
A close second for Marnie was the beach. Marnie was fortunate to grow up in Florida as a young child, work in Ocean City, NJ in her young adult life, and vacation in Ocean City, NJ with her family when Michael and her nieces were growing up. Marnie loved shopping at her favorite nautical shops along the boardwalk and feeling the breeze as she walked along the coast at sunset. It's family times like these where Marnie's effortless humor really shined through and allowed for so many wonderful memories to reflect on. Marnie truly was the wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt that everyone in their family deserves. She will greatly be missed by all.
