Meghan Jeanne O'Neill

Meghan Jeanne O'Neill, age 43, of Westford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Boston Medical Center, South Campus in Brockton, surrounded by her devoted family. Born in Concord, Meghan was the cherished daughter of Carol O'Neill and the late Robert Finethy, Jr. She was also dearly loved by her stepfather, William O'Neill, whom she regarded as her dad. Meghan was a proud graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School, where she discovered her passion for Culinary Arts. Meghan's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and found happiness in their company. She is survived by her mother, Carol; her stepdad, William O'Neill, and his partner, Marianne Blake of Chelmsford; her partner, Joseph Pedra of Peabody, and their newborn daughter, Rylee; her daughters, Marley and Eleanor Gadwah, and their father, Shane Gadwah, all of Groton. Meghan is also survived by her brothers, Robert W. Finethy III of Lowell, Sean O'Neill and his wife Kaylin of Methuen, and Ryan O'Neill and his wife Amanda and their children Jordan & Mackenzie O'Neill of Westford. Meghan is also remembered by her uncles, Carl Johnson and his wife Wanda of Hudson, NH, and Kenneth Johnson and his wife Pam of Tyngsboro. She was part of a large and loving extended family, with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from both the Finethy and O'Neill families. Among her relatives, Meghan held a close and special connection with her cousin Donnie Crowell of Nashua, NH Meghan's warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be remembered always.
