Melissa True Connor (Robshaw)
Melissa passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with an aggressive form of cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered the Kingdom of Heaven.
Born in St. Augustine, Florida, Melissa was immensely proud of her deep Minorcan heritage. A 1981 graduate of St. Joseph Academy, she was affectionately named "Best All Around" by her classmates-a title that truly reflected her kind spirit, generous heart, and joyful presence.
Melissa dedicated much of her career to the beloved Barnacle Bills Seafood Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine, where she not only managed the restaurant but helped build a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. Most recently, she found joy working alongside close friends at O'Steen's Restaurant.
A talented athlete, Melissa was an avid tennis and paddle tennis player for many years. In recent years, her favorite sporting events were those on the sidelines, cheering with pride for her two grandsons. She found happiness in simple pleasures-reading, gardening, time spent with loved ones, relaxing at the Matanzas Inlet or by the pool, and most of all, making others smile with her warmth and humor.
Melissa is survived by her beloved son, Timothy Jr., and his wife, Jen; her cherished grandsons, Jaxon and Mason; her loving mother, Carolyn Robshaw (Hunter); and her devoted brothers-Rocky, Kenny, Billy, Jimmy, and Danny-and their families; her ex-husband and dear friend, Tim Sr., who remained by her side with unwavering support until the end; and she also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
She is now reunited in heaven with her daughter, Kristin, and embraced once again by her father, Charles "Chub" Robshaw.
A memorial mass will be held in her honor at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine on Thursday, April 24th, at 9:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow, with details to be shared with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Melissa's memory, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
Melissa's light, love, and laughter will be dearly missed but forever remembered.

My grandkids and I were customers of Melissa at Osteen's. SHE ALWAYS asked each child what they were doing(sports) and took a true genuine interest in them. So grateful and what a privilege to have known her. Will miss her terribly at Osteen's. Beverly Taylor, Taylor,Blake, and Carlee Sessions.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of being a part of Melissa´s life and her family in the past. I remember Melissa as a Smart, Beautiful, Personality Plus, Good Mom, Good Daughter, Great Sister, Sweet Friend, and a Hard Worker. I feel positive none of her traits ever changed. Melissa will be missed by many. My heart felt condolences to all the family. Sincerely, Madeline
