Mercedes E. "Merc"
Age 78, of Plum, following a lengthy battle with cancer, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Beloved wife of 34 years to Clyde Laughner; mother of Reina (Nick) Pinkine, Deborah (Kevin) Munsch, and Lori (Vince) Altrudo; grandmother of Jordan, Allison, Jacob, Olivia, Angelina, Vincenzo, and Sophia; Sister of Marilyn (Joe) Retkowski, Beverly (Bill) Kruck, and the late Donald Kane; also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Devoted to her family, Mercedes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend to all. Friends received, Saturday, 2-4 & 6-8pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills where a Blessing Service will be held Sunday, 2:00pm.
