Mrs. Meredith Ann Jones, 69, passed away November 19, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. Services will be held at a later time.
Mrs. Jones was born November 9, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO. She loved farm life, her kids, grandchildren, friends and animals. Mrs. Jones enjoyed gardening and cooking for others. A testament to her hard work, she owned businesses in the trucking and chicken farming industry for many years with her husband. She trained horses and loved riding them in her younger years. Mrs. Jones was a beacon for all lost or injured animals and gave them a forever home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hunter B. Jones.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Hunter Jones and his wife, Donna of Mauk, GA; a daughter, Angela Donahey and her husband, Victor of Madison, CT; six grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Hunter Donahey, Kathryn Donahey, Jordan Castrogiovanni (Danny), Owen Donahey, and Livianne Jones; three brothers, Keith Gardner, Kenton Gardner and Kevin Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.
