Me & cookie were good friends were we both use to work together at peckham. She was such a caring & sweet soul! She often brought in cookies to share with all! & they always where amazing! I later found out she really wasn't to far from where I live! Her hubby David even rotatatilled our garden one yr! After cookie retired I'd sometimes run into her at our local meijer store & we would catch up... sadely we lost touch I always thought of her from time to time and knew she was sick I just so happen to think of her this morning & like I do to some people I haven't heard of in sometime ill look them up... & that's when I seen of her passing. such a wonderful woman cookie was and I know anyone who had the pleasure to meet her or become her friend/family where very lucky people! She will be so greatly missed! RIP COOKIE!

It's tough to know where to begin... but I guess I'll start off by saying that Cookie was one of my favorite people in the whole entire world. I waited with such excitement for her to arrive at our yearly Barton reunions. She was always positive, had a beautiful smile, and told amazing stories. We used to laugh together, give each other updates about our kids/grandkids, and exchange genealogy information. I would hang onto every word she spoke; her stories about days gone by were incredibly fascinating. She sent the BEST holiday cards, and I eagerly awaited their arrival each year. Cookie was such a warrior; she looked adversity in the eye and fought back like a champ. Her strength and determination will always be a big source of inspiration for me; I can honestly say that I'm a better human being because I knew her. To Dave, Scott, Deanna, Mike, Marc, and your families - I am very sorry for your loss. But I am comforted by the fact that Cookie is no longer in pain and she is finally reunited with her parents. She will be dearly missed by those who were blessed enough to know her, but she will certainly never be forgotten. Our love to you all.

To the family of Cookie my deepest sympathy goes out to each and everyone of you. I was one of Cookies friends in school, in fact I considered Cookie my bestie friend.
Cookie I have been looking for you but I didn't find you in time and I am sorry for that. I will miss you so much just like your family and friends. You will be missed Cookie.
R.I.P. Cookie. Love you. Till I see you on the other side.
