Michael L. Anderson, age 67, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 8:12PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at the Eagles in Paris, Illinois. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Michael was born on March 18, 1958 in Danville, Illinois to Donald and Mary (Chew) Anderson.
Michael proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked for several years as a contractor and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In his free time, Michael found joy in golfing and bowling, loved playing the guitar and was an avid card player. He was also a talented woodworker and enjoyed hand painting. Above all, Michael loved life, he never met a stranger and genuinely enjoyed getting to know people and hearing their stories.
He is survived by his children: Matthew Anderson (Stephanie), Kyle Anderson (Kirby), Jordan Anderson (Bailey); his former spouses: Patricia Anderson and Amy Anderson Suites; his grandchildren: Claire Anderson, Kindal Anderson, Grady Anderson; his siblings: Kathy Butterworth, Donna Storm (Gary), Mary Jane Nolan (AK), Carol Annabelle Anderson, Patti Gibson (Jim); his sisters in law: Toni Anderson and Carol Lynne Anderson; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Richard Anderson and Donnie Anderson.
Memorials may be made to Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
