Michael Bishop September 28, 1961 – May 21, 2025 Michael Bishop, 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on September 28, 1961, in Booneville, Mississippi, Michael was the beloved son of Lorenzo and Karin (Schroeder) Bishop. He lived a life marked by deep love for his family, an infectious passion for golf, and a lifelong devotion to the University of Georgia Bulldogs-Go Dawgs! Michael's greatest joy came from time spent with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. His warm presence, sense of humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Drake (Travis) of Warner Robins, GA; his adored grandchildren: Alexzander, Arya, and Axel; his parents, Lorenzo and Karin Bishop of Hinesville, GA; and his brothers, Lorenzo Bishop, Jr. (Lisa) of Guyton, GA, and Jeff Bishop of Warner Robins, GA. Michael's memory will be held close by his family and friends, who will forever remember his generous heart, his spirited conversations, and the many rounds of golf shared along the way.
