It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing our beloved Michael Armando Castro. He passed in Hartsville on Thursday November 16, 2023, at the age of 30.
Michael recently celebrated his 30th birthday on Sunday November 12, 2023.
He was just getting started in his passion for the construction business. Michael was always available to who needed a helping hand. He never met a stranger. Michael felt best around his two sons, family and friends. He was truly the life of the party.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Francie Castro; sons, Reece William Freeman Castro and Michael Jonah Castro; mother, Norma Castro; father, Alejandro Perez; Pops, Armando (Rosaisela) Castro; siblings: Karen Arias, Alex (twin brother) (Lauren) Castro Danamen (Jeffery) Castro, Gerardo (Tiffany) Castro, Zack (Tori) Soto, Ivan (Katie) Jimenez, Trey (Jessica) Ashton; mother-in-law, Cindy Freeman; sister-in-law’s, Jessica Tiller & Kimberly Freeman; brother-in-law, Danny Freeman; nieces: Autumn Castro, Mallori Dixon, Mia Jimenez, Athena Castro, Aurora Castro, Ariel Castro; nephews: Liam Castro, Paxton Tiller, Mason Freeman; aunt, Yaneth Castro, uncle, Santos Castro; cousins: Willy, Brettned, Zaria Brizuela; lifelong friends: Soto-Hodges family, Jimenez family, Kinney family, and many more friends.
He was preceded in death by: William Freeman, Steven Castro, Papa & Nannie Soto.
His service will be conducted at 3:00 on Monday afternoon, November 20th, 2023, by the graveside of Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 - 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, November 19th, 2023, at Norton Funeral Home. The family will also welcome friends on Saturday afternoon, November 18th, 2023, from 2:00 - 5:00 at the residence, 2248 N. Fifth St., Hartsville.
