Michael "Mike" S. Clott, age 74 of Woodstock, GA passed away on Sunday, June 18th, 2023. Mike was born May 13, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio and educated at Case Western Reserve receiving his undergraduate degree. He then went on receive his Master's degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech University.
Mike and his wife Darlene were united in holy matrimony in 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mike and Darlene were avid travelers visiting all seven continents. Their loving marriage was blessed with twins Alison and Geoff Clott. Mike's family was his number one priority and his utmost pride. His happiness in family was amplified in 2020 with the birth of his granddaughter Alexis and then again in 2021 with the birth of his grandson Will. Being a Grandpa "Poppy" is one of the best roles he ever had.
Mike had a curiosity for life and zest for learning that is rare to find. His academic mind never took well to retirement, and he had an endless list of new fascinations and hobbies. His wry humor made him a lovable asset in his community and neighborhood. He was everyone's fix-it man and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. His departure from this world leaves momentous impact on the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Mike was proceeded in death by his parents Jean and Herman Clott and brother Brian Clott. Mike's loving memory is survived by his wife Darlene, daughter Alison and her husband Adam, son Geoff and his wife Nicole and brother Joel.
