Michael Danz Obituary
He was a graduate of Harry Wood High School and also was trained with the ROTC during his school years.
He started his career with Mid-West Trucking Company and retired from Visteon (Ford) Company.
He enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, and playing practical jokes every chance he got. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Leora Danz, his children Michael S. (Frances Smith) Danz, Matthew D. Danz, Wendell Dunn, Dianna Dunn, Barbara (Jose)Alejandro, 6 grandchildren, Emily (Sean)Thompson, Austin Stewart, Erek Webb, Alton Danz, Matthew H. Danz, Kaylee Danz and great grandson Patrick Thompson and his sister in law Wanda K. Danz, several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steven Danz.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN., with the service at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers, https://t2t.org

Always enjoyed seeing Michael when we work together at Ford visiting on and his humor was always over the top. We will all surely miss him......... Praying for all the family.

Mr. Mike was truly one of a kind. He and my father shared a bond of friendship lasting an incredible 64 years, a connection so deep they were often mistaken for brothers. When he, my dad, and my late uncle gathered, the stories would flow like a river, filled with laughter and shared history. Though we weren't related by blood, Mr. Mike was family in every way that mattered. We will love him always and miss him dearly.
