Michael Robert "DILLIGAF" Duncan, 62, died November 6, 2024, in Indianapolis. Born January 9, 1962, in Kokomo, he was the youngest son of C. Leon and K. June (Weidner) Duncan.
Michael had a great childhood in Kokomo with his beloved brothers. He attended Kokomo High School, where he was known for riding his skateboard anywhere and everywhere, and causing a ruckus with his brother, Pat. He was a talented competitive swimmer and spent his summers showing off on the old high dive at the Kokomo Seashore. After high school, Michael enlisted in the Air Force and was very proud to have served his country. Throughout his life, he lived in Florida, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Greenwood, Lafayette, Hawaii, and Carmel.
He lived life on the edge, enjoying fast cars and riding his motorcycle. He loved disc golf, loud music, making pizza, drumming on everything, Star Trek, Mountain Dew, and all animals, especially dogs. He had a great sense of humor and showed his love to people using nicknames and banter. He was passionate about what he believed in and could be very stubborn and hard-headed.
Michael leaves behind his only daughter, Blaire Duncan; nieces and nephews Roger Reed, Heather (Steve) Hicks, Sarah Goodman, Jesse Duncan and Alyxandria Duncan; the family he created for himself, Mike Burman and Natalie Bell, Dan Boals, David, Marsha, Alisha and Zach Burman, and Jo and Jules Bell; and the family dog, Freya.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Holly, brothers Jeff, Pat, and Bill, several aunts and uncles, and a very special dog, Roscoe.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held from 1-4pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Carmel American Legion, 852 W Main Street, Carmel 46032. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe which has been created to help his daughter with his final expenses by clicking on this link https://gofund.me/9a590fa7.

Ah Mike, since you left, I've lost a brother, a niece and a beloved sister. You were a good friend. I miss you on Facebook, even though we both hated it so much. Thinking of you today ...

I meet Dan at the Monon Center where he and his friend Dan would faithfully do their laps together. Mike and I had a lot in common and our conversations were funny and sometimes salty.
I miss his comiradre at the Jim, but I know his fight with pain is over, and Heaven is a funnier place since Mike showed up.
