Just learned of your passing Dear Michael . You were such a great boss and fellow RN. Strong, funny and handsome .always watching out for me in your own way. I will remember your laugh and you scolding me in a funny way. I will miss you forever. RIP my friend

I will always remember Mike as a very caring and compassionate person. I had the pleasure of working with him at Danbury Hospital ER through my journey from PCT to RN. He was a wonderful leader and loved what he did. my thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. Rest in peace Mike.

Mike, you made me laugh daily! Didn't have to be a special occasion. We passed in the hallways at DH, and we just ribbed one another. Your smile is infectious and you are already missed. Wendi

From the first day I met Mike, he called me "the cuch" - shortened by last name, and we just laughed about what my last name meant (kitchen). We reminisced about common threads. Always with a hug and smile for 10+ years

Mike,
You were one of a kind. Whether it was you giving me the heads up JCAHO was in house by wearing a suit and saying "Gee....heads up, I´m wearing a suit", or assigning me a room by putting G$$$$$$$ on the board. It´s been a pleasure over the years and you´re missed. May you Rest in Paradise.

Michael and I worked together in managing crisis intervention. He was the most reasonable, levelheaded guy and always worked in a collaborative manner to make the system work for everyone. He will be greatly missed. Chuck Herrick, MD
