Michael Raymond Giampino, 47, of Venice Florida, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2022. He was born on May 22, 1974 in Morristown, New Jersey. He was a graduate of West Morris Mendham High School in Mendham, New Jersey and the State College of Florida.
Michael was employed as a Auto Collision Damage Appraiser at Crest (Sunset) Cadillac in Venice for 26 years and retired in 2021. He was previously a Life-Teen Youth Ministry Counselor, a Catechist for Religious Education for Confirmation, a Sacristan, and an Eucharistic Minister for Epiphany Cathedral in Venice.
Michael was also a Marathon runner and a Tri-Athlete, who competed throughout the United States, and won many medals and awards. He was a loving, caring and compassionate person, and helped many people throughout his lifetime.
He is survived by his loving parents Raymond and Carol Giampino, a dear sister Theresa (Steven) Vervaet, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his loving cat companion, Gina.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26th (tomorrow) at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Ewing Chapel, 140 East Venice Avenue in Venice.
There will also be a prayer service at 7:30 pm at the funeral home, with Father Jay Raju from Epiphany Cathedral officiating.
There will be additional services in New Jersey at a date and time to be announced.
Donations may be made to your charity of choice in Michael's memory.
