Michael Roland Harrell

Mike Harrell age 59, of Vanderbilt, Michigan passed away September 9, 2025. Michael was born on September 15, 1965, in Detroit. He was the son of the late James and Carol (Boske) Harrell.
Mike grew up in East Detroit and was a graduate of East Detroit High School. His earlier years were filled with weekends and summers in Vanderbilt, where he enjoyed snowmobiling and four-wheeling. Sing-alongs were very popular with his family and friends. He also performed with his band at many parties over the years.
The last few years Mike moved to Vanderbilt and worked for a nonprofit called "Popular Democracy". Mike also had big plans of starting a sound studio, where his friends and other studio musicians could come and record.
Mike is survived by his aunt, Joyce (Kenneth) Hansen and his two cousins Jodi Hansen and Mark (Elizabeth) Hansen and their children.
