Michael J. Jasmin, 58, died peacefully at home on Thursday, August 14, 2025. He was the husband of Karen M. (Longobardi) Jasmin. Son of Richard J. Jasmin and his wife Linda of Pocasset and the late Alice F. (McNamara) Jasmin, he was born and raised in Stoughton. Mike was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Holbrook 8 years ago. He was a Class of 1985 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood and attended Southeastern Massachusetts University in Dartmouth, exceling in football at both schools. Mike was a warehouse supervisor at Franklin Sporting Goods in Stoughton for over 20 years until the company moved in 2008. He was an avid Boston sports fan and he enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his beloved greyhounds, Fionne and Lamar.
Mike is also survived by his brothers, Richard J. Jasmin Jr. of Stoughton and Edward J. Jasmin of Fall River. He was the uncle of Richard Jasmin and his wife Nicole, Kaitlyn Jasmin, Lindsey Jasmin, Thomas Jasmin, Ryan Jasmin, Domenic Longobardi and Julia Longobardi and great-uncle of Avery Jasmin.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at Town Spa, 1119 Washington St. (Rt. 138), Stoughton on Tuesday, September 9 from 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike‘s memory may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 (www.mspca.org).
