Michael Glenn Kuhns passed away August 4, 2024 at the age of 61. He was born and raised in Canton Ohio. For the beginning of his life he worked at his dad's full service gas station eventually taking over the 77 Amoco, but his passion was printing which he studied vocationally during his time at McKinley High School. After graduating he worked at Canton Printing Company as an offset printer. Moving on to Standard Printing he became a press mechanic eventually leading him to where he spent his most time as the Director of Operations in the press room at The Canton Repository. During his time printing he found time to become a Certified ASE Automotive Master Technician which he was very proud. You could always find him in the garage tinkering on a car. Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife Stephanie Kuhns, his father, Ralph Kuhns Jr. and his mother, Barbara Kuhns. He is survived by his loving son, Charles (Ariel) Kuhns and his loving daughter, Ashley (Henry) Davenport along with his 3 amazing grandchildren whom he was very proud, Henry Jr. and Gwendolyn Davenport and Charlie Kuhns. You could find Mike sitting with his grand-cats Cosmo and Mini when he was relaxing while watching his favorite shows, which was anything relating to history and science. His favorite being astronomy, he was fascinated with the stars in the sky. Michael has left behind his sister, Karen (Tim) Ristow. A brother, Greg Kuhns and two nieces whom he loved very much, Gretchen and Shannon. He also left behind one of his very best friends, Brian, who he had a very close bond with. Mike was a guys guy and has left a lasting impact on all his family members and his friends. He will be missed by many people of our community. A private funeral service has been planned.
