Michael Lyons Obituary
Born in Boston, he was the son of Francis B. Lyons, Jr. of W. Wareham and the late Patricia M. (Welch) Lyons. Raised in Brockton, Michael graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1984 where he studied small engine repair and maintenance.
Michael loved cars and attending car shows. He also enjoyed flea markets, Nantasket Beach and his iced coffee.
Survivors include, Katherine F. Lyons of Brockton, mother of his children; his son, Michael J. Lyons, Jr. of Brockton; his daughter, Emily Lyons of Brooklyn, NY; his grandson, John G. Wilson; his father, Francis B. Lyons, Jr. of W. Wareham; his sister, Kathleen Cannizzaro of Vero Beach, FL; his brother, Christopher Lyons and life partner, Margaret Champoux of New Bedford; his nephews, David A. Cannizzaro, Jr., and Adam Cannizzaro; and his niece, Chelsy Cannizzaro. He was predeceased by his sons, the late Andrew Lyons and Jacob Lyons.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Central St., Stoughton at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
