Michael V. Maloney Jr.

Michael V. Maloney, Jr, 59, of Beverly, died on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 at Beverly Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, to Michael and Patricia (Davidson) Maloney, Sr, he was a graduate of The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following graduation, Mike and Rebecca (Westerman) Maloney left the greater DC area for Boston and eventually married. Devoted to his family, Mike supported and nurtured his wife, daughter and son to become better and stronger people.
Mike was a creative thinker and artist. He expressed his political opinions through his cartoons and animations. He was known for his quick wit, knowledge of trivia, and sarcastic sense of humor. Mike was a passionate cook and foodie at heart whose recipes were always a hit, and his favorite excursions with his family were to galleries. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Mike is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Westerman) Maloney of Beverly; his children Adelaide and Ronan of Beverly; his father, Michael Maloney Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY; siblings Patricia Maloney of New York, NY, Mary E. Maloney (Brian Wrafter) of Hamburg, NY, and Tom Maloney of Beverly; nephew Collin Maloney; nieces Annabel and Natalie Shropshire; and in-laws including the Kings, Westermans, and Shropshires. Michael is predeceased by his mother, Patricia (Davidson) Maloney.
His funeral service will be at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street on Tuesday, March 28, at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be at the Campbell Funeral Home on Monday, March 27, from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
