Michael Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Martin who left us on April 7th at the age of 56. Michael was a courageous soul who carried the weight of lifelong mental health challenges-struggles he worked desperately to keep hidden from the world.
Despite the unrelenting nature of his illness, Michael explored every possible path to healing - from traditional therapies to alternative approaches - always holding on to hope and fighting for better days. His resilience in the face of suffering was profound-something that should never be mistaken for weakness. He was a true warrior battling an invisible illness.
Michael was so much more than his struggle. He was a highly respected entrepreneur who built and managed his own real estate appraisal business. Michael was known for his sharp mind and his incredible sense of humor-one that could lift a room, even as it masked the weight he quietly carried. Throughout his battle, Michael occasionally found moments of solace in these familiar comforts - spending quality time with his family, cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Bruins, and unwinding on the golf course.
While we grieve this loss with aching hearts, we also find comfort in knowing Michael is finally at peace. His battle is over, and the pain he bore so quietly is no longer his to carry.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his parents Richard and Janet Martin, his sister Lisa Shah and husband Greg, sister Shannon Danforth and husband Chris, nephews Patrick, Mike, Johnathan, and Matthew; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 12pm to 4pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. His Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
