Michael Lane Edwards, 71, of Marysville, Kansas, passed away on August 18, 2025, at his home in Marysville.
He was born on October 19, 1953, in Shreveport, LA, to Jack and Lorraine Edwards. Mike was the third of 4 children born to this marriage. Lorraine later married Eddie Duell, and 1 child was born to that marriage.
Mike married Janis Kay Kracht on August 5, 1971. Three children were born to this marriage. They later divorced.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Jack Edwards, Lorraine Duell, and Eddie Duell; and sister, Sherri Diane Gardner.
Survivors include his children, Tracy (Mickey) Edwards, Emporia, KS, Travis Edwards, and Chrissy Parmentier, both of Marysville; 9 grandchildren, Jordan (Kristina) Edwards, Dalton (Courtney) Edwards, Colton Edwards, Abbey (Cody) Carder, Denton Luedders, Rylee Swearingen, Annyiah Welch, James Jones, Chance Hight (Jess Larabee), and Lyrik Hight (Dylan Frazier); 3 great-grandchildren, River Hight, Beaux Edwards and Kaysen Frazier; and siblings, Carl Edwards, Mustang, OK, Rockey (Brenda) Edwards, Marysville, KS, Sam (Andi) Duell, Appleton, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
A family burial will take place at a later date in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
