Best dad, brother, son, friend
Mike Myhre (62) passed away Sunday peacefully in his sleep at his house in Round Rock, TX.
Mike was born in England on February 20, 1961 to Myrna and Jerome Myhre. He grew up in Austin, TX and graduated from Crockett High School in 1979.
Mike had a passion for cars, golf, soccer, bike rides, and his grand dog Django. He married Brenda Montgomery in 1987 and later that year had their first daughter Kimberly (KK) Myhre. 10 years later their family was complete with their second daughter Michaela (Bud) Myhre. He is preceded in death by his father (Jerome Myhre ) and his wife Brenda Myhre. He is survived by his two daughters Kimberly Myhre and Michaela Myhre, his mother Myrna Myhre, sister Sheryl Ruyle and her family, and many nieces and nephews.
He was so proud of his 2 daughters and all their achievements. He was Burnet Lady Dawgs soccer biggest fan and never missed a game in Kimberly's coaching career. He was beaming when Michaela graduated with her Master's degree. Michaela was his daily comic relief.
Mike took great pride in everything he did. From the driving range, to riding his bike on town lake, to taking Django on a walk every night.
Mike was a light to everyone he met and never knew a stranger. His laugh, memories and and love will be missed by many, many people.

I worked with Mike both at the state and part-time and drug emporium on Burnet Rd. We would continuously play pranks on each other. He was a good dude.

Mike was my very good friend and we coached together for many soccer seasons. Mike was an excellent coach, mentor and very dedicated in developing young people. I will miss you always and treasure the memories we made. You raised two beautiful daughters! You should be so proud. You made a difference Mike! Coach Zbigniew Pala
