Mike was my best friend in the world growing up.
We wrote many songs together.
We hung out and met other people together.
We spent the most time together, of all our friends in that group.
There was not a thing that Mike didn't invite me too, or a time he didn't make me feel welcome. Mike always made me laugh, and would always make sure I was having a good time.
Him and his family showed me the world.
I'll never be able to express how grateful I am for the time we spent together. I think about the days at the Oak Brook house frequently, I'll cherish those memories even more.
We reconnected a few years back. You came out here to my place to visit me, we started rewriting our song that we never finished... I got to come down to Oak Brook again and revisit your parents place which brought back so many memories.. I wish I could turn back time and speak to you again. I wish I could work on that song with you again. I love you man.
