Michael Lee Pepmeier

Michael Lee Pepmeier, better known as Mike, 63, passed away at 3:15 pm on November 17, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his family. Mike was born on January 27, 1959 in Vincennes and he is the son of Robert L. "Bob" and Barbara (Richter) Pepmeier.
Mike attended Hillcrest Schools and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He worked for KCARC Plant 1and enjoyed many things in life. Mike enjoyed listening to music, karaoke, stringing beads, attending any sporting event at Vincennes Lincoln High School or Vincennes Rivet High School, and bowling. He also enjoyed participating in KCARC Special Olympic sporting events and attending the Bettye J. McCormick Senior Center. He was #1 salesman for RCS Uper (Super) Store. Mike especially loved his dogs, Charlie, Scotty, Maddie, and Chloe-CoCo.
Survivors include his brothers, Randy Pepmeier and his wife Jan of Salem, IN, Mark Pepmeier and his wife Ann of Vincennes, IN; his special family, Bunk, Pam, Danyelle and Curtis McCrary of Vincennes; nieces and nephews, Jason Pepmeier and his wife Kandi, Jennifer Miller and her husband Jeremy, Ryan Pepmeier and his wife Jessica, Josh Pepmeier; great nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Bush and her husband Brock, Blayton Miller and his wife Audrey, Brandon Pepmeier, Brody Pepmeier, Owen Pepmeier, Grayson Pepmeier, Gavin Pepmeier; great great nephew, Bryce Bush; aunts and uncles Jim and Linda Clikenbeard of Vincennes, Harley and Marolyn Pepmeier of Newburgh, IN, Calvin and Carolyn Horn of Bicknell, IN; as well as several cousins. Mike is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Barbara Pepmeier, and a special family member Charles P. "Bunk" McCrary.
Friends may visit with Mike's family from 1-6 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Mike's funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Pat Herman officiating. Mike will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to his parents Bob and Barbara Pepmeier. The Pepmeier family has requested contributions be made to Bettye J.
