Michael Ritter

Michael Ritter, of Sayler Park, passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age 65. He was born to Thomas Sr. and Barbara (nee Westrich) Ritter, on January 10, 1960 and grew up in Sayler Park. He went to St. Al's on the Ohio grade school and then attended and graduated from Elder High School. He started working at Kahn's and after a few years found his forever company Shepherd Chemical, where he worked for 44 years as a dedicated employee. Michael enjoyed the outdoors especially watching bald eagles on the river and mowing Berger's Farm. He also liked Nascar, trying his luck at the casinos, and sitting down to eat a good meal. Michael was the generous uncle and time spent with his nieces and nephews created some wonderful memories together.
Michael is survived by his beloved mom Barbara (Westrich) Ritter; siblings: Thomas J. (Patricia) Ritter Jr., Anthony "Tony" Ritter, and Shannon (Greg) Homoelle; cherished nieces and nephews: Michelle (Drew) Watts, Stephen (Erin Adams) Ritter, Kristin Woodall, Colby (Tyrrah Miller) Ritter and Nathan, Emma and Olivia Homoelle, Jonathan Ritter, Conner Woodall & Ava Watts.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
