Michael Rowden

Michael Vernon Rowden, "Big Mike" of Redding, Ca. passed away on 9/26/23 after a short battle with cancer. Mike was born in Tuscombia, Mo. to Tammy Rowden (Pendergraft) and Charley Rowden on July 20, 1982. He graduated from Anderson Union High School in 2001, furthering his education at Shasta College. Mike married Angela Martin on June 10, 2012 and in their eight years together welcomed two sons. Caleb Matthew and Lincoln Andrew, Heartbrokenly Caleb grew his own angel wings on June 10, 2011.
Mike had a wide range of jobs throughout his life, always looking for the next best opportunity to better himself. His love for music was felt by all of those who were around him. Many friendships were gained through his passion of video games, passing on this joy to his son Lincoln.

Mike is survived by his son Lincoln Andrew, Tammy Rowden, Brandon Rowden, Sabrina Rowden, Joe Allen, Roy Rowden, Lisa York, Joann Reinhart, Peggy Avery and Angela Martin.
