Michael Spears Obituary

Michael was born in Alliance, OH to the late Estill and Evelyn Spears. He served honorably in the United States Navy. He provided for his family as a machinist. He was a proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment and was known for using the acronym, #FJB and he was a Facebook Rebel. He loved telling stories and was a history buff. He loved fishing, fires, and music, especially classic rock, but most of all he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cheri Spears.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debra Spears; his daughters, Stacey (Mark) Boswell, and Jaime (Armando Aldazabal); grandchildren, Malachi (Kylee) Hawley, Jason Brock, Nate (Stacie) Boswell, Lidia Cruz, Gabriella Cruz, Issabella Aldazabal; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Hawley, Sawyer Boswell; siblings, Ronnie (Tracy) Spears, Karen (Wayne) Lilly, Rusty (Nicole) Spears, Mary (Irvin) Percy; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, with Military Honors bestowed by the United States Navy, will be held at St. Johns Family Funeral Home of St. Augustine on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Those unable to attend can view the service live streamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/live/2a7a09ae1c0559a83ef537e05e6a14a6/2aae7d5f-98fd-a9e6-32a7-b774547cf42c.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
